Some perks and other effects can generate Bonus Phases. Bonus phases take place immediately and do not effect the initiative order. During a bonus phase a character can take a normal amount of actions (2simple/ 1 complex, etc.) and has 50% worth of a turns movement to use which doesn't count towards that turn's movement allotment. Bonus phases are use it or lose it; you can't ready or delay during a bonus phase; characters must act immediately or lose the benefit.
Some effects may allow you to chain together bonus phases, but you can't generate a "stack" of them during any one phase. Essentially, there's no sense in attempting to gain a bonus phase if you're already about to take one, but you can generate a bonus phase during a bonus phase.
